Job Summary
Work as a hands-on technician focused on payload assembly, integration, and testing.
Assemble mechanical, electronic, and camera components of payload systems according to drawings and work instructions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical payload sub-assemblies and complete payloads.
- Assemble and install cameras, LRFs, motors, sensors, electronics, brackets, and covers.
- Route cables, mate connectors, and install basic harnesses.
- Perform basic alignment and fitment checks.
- Perform basic functional testing of assembled payloads.
- Support engineers during payload integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Perform tapping, drilling, deburring, filing, and minor mechanical modifications.
- Use hand tools, torque tools, and measuring instruments.
- Maintain assembly quality, cleanliness, and careful handling of precision and optical components.
- Record assembly and test observations.
