About the Role
Precision Group seeks a Production Technician to perform mould changing, process setting, and machine operation in a plastic manufacturing environment. The role requires hands-on experience with injection stretch blow moulding and extrusion blow moulding technology.

Responsibilities
- Perform pre preparation task for mould changing and set up mould for all process equipment as per product specification
- Load the mould efficiently as per SOP and set the machine and process as per product specification
- Contribute in achieving production target through effective process control
- Observe active machines to identify abnormalities and take corrective action
- Carry out cleaning/maintenance of change parts and mould accessories after production run
- Check mould moving parts and lubricate, maintain daily record
- Perform minor maintenance and assist in general maintenance as required
- Perform in process quality checks to ensure accurate machine and process setting
- Verify accuracy of product specification and ensure Quality and Production approval on data sheet
- Maintain mould history cards and report to Supervisor/Production Executive
- Observe safety precautions, especially during mould changes, and identify potential hazards
- Follow company HSE guidelines in all operations
Requirements
- CIPET with background knowledge of Plastics processing or ITI
- At least 5 6 years of hands on experience in plastic manufacturing industry (if no CIPET/ITI)
- Hands on experience on Injection Stretch Blow Moulding and Extrusion Blow Moulding technology
- Knowledge of production process
- Knowledge of mould changing / setting
- Knowledge and experience in Mechanical, Electrical and hydraulic equipment preferred
- Knowledge of related machines and its operation preferred

Job Content
- Responsible to perform pre preparation task for mould changing and set up mould for all process equipment as per the product specification while ensuring the process setting is done with minimum job setup.
Functional Responsibilities
- Perform pre preparation task for mould changing in order to ensure minimum mould changing time.
- Load the mould efficiently as per the standing operating procedures (SOP) given and set the machine and the process as per the product specification.
- Contribute in achieving production target through effective process control.
- Observe active machines to identify abnormalities in machine operation and take corrective action if required.
- Carry out cleaning/ maintenance of change parts and mould accessories after production run and ensure proper storage with identification.
- To ensure cleaning of material handling equipment is carried out at regular interval.
- Check the mould moving parts and lubricate it and maintain a daily record of the same.
- Perform minor maintenance as required and provide assistance in general maintenance if required.
- Perform in process quality checks which requires accurate machine and process setting to obtain production efficiency.
- Verify the accuracy of product specification and ensure Quality personnel and Production supervisors’ approval on production data sheet during mould and job changes.
- Maintain the mould history cards and report it to the Supervisor and/or Production Executive if any work needs to be carried out.
- Observe safety precautions on priority, especially during mould changes and be vigilant to identify potential hazards and take necessary measures to avoid any calamities.
Requirements
- Education/ Qualifications: CIPET with background knowledge of Plastics processing; ITI; Special trainings preferably in Plastic production.
- Experience: At least 5 6 years of hands on experience in plastic manufacturing industry (in case there is no CIPET/ITI qualification).
- Functional Skills & Specific Knowledge: Hands on experience on Injection Stretch Blow Moulding and Extrusion Blow Moulding technology.
- Knowledge of production process.
- Knowledge of mould changing / setting.
- Knowledge and experience in Mechanical, Electrical and hydraulic equipment preferred.
