Job Purpose
Perform mechanical installation, repair, and maintenance of machinery, equipment, and fixtures to ensure efficient operation with minimum downtime.
Comply with EHS guidelines and support continuous improvement of plant and equipment performance.
Maintenance Accountabilities
- Handle mechanical breakdowns and planned, preventive, and predictive maintenance with minimal direction and supervision.
- Assess allocated jobs and select the necessary tools and equipment.
- Complete maintenance in accordance with safety procedures and plant operational requirements.
- Perform daily preventive maintenance, running inspections, and checklists according to maintenance planning requirements.
Troubleshooting and Repairs
- Use SAP to order spare parts from the warehouse and maintain records of completed maintenance work.
- Monitor repeated breakdowns and recommend or complete modifications to resolve problems.
- Identify abnormalities, initiate repairs, replacements, tests, and component assembly, and report actions to the supervisor.
- Perform welding and fabrication work and leave the work area clean.
