Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on hotel facilities and equipment
- Attend to guest room maintenance requests promptly and efficiently
- Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting issues
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back of house facilities
- Ensure all maintenance work is completed in accordance with health, safety, and hotel standards
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition
- Report major repairs or equipment failures to the Engineering Supervisor
- Support energy conservation initiatives and maintain accurate maintenance records
Requirements
- Diploma or certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related technical field
- Minimum 1–2 years' experience as a General Technician, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance
- Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
