Responsibilities
- Carry out planned electrical/mechanical maintenance on all items of crane equipment
- Ensure maximum operational availability of equipment by conducting periodic diagnostic work and repairs
- Undertake work in a safe manner in compliance with safety regulations and procedures
- Keep Supervisors and other technicians informed of progress & problems
- Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of workshop facilities and equipment
- Carry out fault diagnosis on equipment and ascertain cause of defects, repair methods, and spare part requirements
- Select correct spare parts and obtain technical information from manufacturers parts and technical manuals
- Carry out duties with limited supervision
- Visit sites of work locations and equipment as assigned

Duties
- Carry out planned electrical/mechanical maintenance on all items of crane equipment.
