Responsibilities
- Translate technical documents such as manuals, specifications, reports, drawings, and SOPs
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity in all translated materials
- Maintain proper use of technical terminology relevant to the industry (e.g., engineering, oil & gas, construction, IT, etc.)
- Review and proofread translated content for quality assurance
- Work closely with subject matter experts to understand technical context
- Update and maintain glossaries and translation memory tools
- Support bilingual communication in meetings, emails, and presentations when required
- Ensure all documents comply with company standards and local regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Engineering, or related field
- 3–7 years of experience in technical translation
- Fluency in English and Arabic (spoken and written)
- Strong understanding of technical terminology in relevant industry
- Proficiency in translation tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ, or similar CAT tools)
- Excellent proofreading, editing, and communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously

Job Description
- We are seeking a detail oriented and skilled Technical Translator to join our team in Jeddah.
