The Role
The Technical Support Agent is the primary escalation point for Brivo's certified dealer network.
The role provides virtual consulting on physical security hardware, low-voltage electricity, cloud connectivity, and video systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve Brivo Eagle Eye Video issues involving cameras, VMS, networks, and video AI.
- Manage high-volume email and chat queues with ownership, urgency, and persistence.
- Collaborate across Support, Product, and Engineering to resolve complex issues.
- Translate dealer feedback into product and engineering improvements.
- Document cases in Zoho Desk and track bugs or feature requests in Jira.
- Communicate technical trends and system updates to the dealer community.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- B.E. or B.Sc. in Electronics, Computer Science, or Telecommunications; Diploma or BCA holders with significant experience are encouraged.
- At least 2 years of technical helpdesk or customer support experience.
- Practical Linux, TCP/IP, DHCP, and networking troubleshooting knowledge.
- Direct experience with access control, CCTV, or security surveillance hardware.
- Familiarity with Video Management Systems and IoT device management.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
