**Process Management:**Prepare, implement, and manage technical and operational processes, ensuring streamlined operations and consistent product quality.

**Document & SharePoint Management:**Oversee and manage Engineering documents and ensure they’re efficiently integrated with the SharePoint system for easy access and collaboration.

**Supplier Relationship:**Foster and maintain robust relationships with suppliers, facilitating effective communication and understanding of mutual requirements and deliverables.

**Warranty & TPR Management:**Supervise warranties and coordinate Technical Problem Reports (TPR) with manufacturers and suppliers, ensuring timely resolutions.

**Training Oversight:**Lead the organization, delivery, and assessment of technical and operational training sessions to ensure staff proficiency.

**Application Development & Deployment:**Spearhead the development, testing, and deployment of all applications, integrating quality assurance measures and ensuring alignment with user needs.

**Health & Safety Adherence:**Strictly abide by and enforce PTC Health & Safety procedures, championing a culture of safety within the team.

Comply with the health, safety and security practice and guidelines as per PTC policy

**Quality Assurance & MMS:**Integrate the Maintenance Management System (MMS) into quality assurance processes, ensuring consistent quality checks, timely maintenance, and adherence to PTC standards.

**Standards Compliance:**Guarantee that all operations align with the standards and best practices established by PTC.

**Team Leadership:**Guide and mentor the technical team, instilling a mindset of continuous improvement and innovation.

**Budget Management:**Monitor the technical department’s budget, optimizing resource allocation and expenditure.

**Continuous Learning:**Stay updated with industry trends, assimilating relevant advancements into PTC’s operations for enhanced performance.**Stakeholder Engagement:**

Maintain transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders, aligning technical goals with broader company objectives.**Strategic Planning:**

Collaborate with top management to align technical strategies with PTC’s long-term vision and market needs.**Safety & Compliance:**

Comply with the health, safety and security practice and guidelines as per PTC policy

Responsibilities & Requirements

------------------------------------

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

Minimum 8 years in a similar field.

Fluent in written & spoken English.

Must be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge of UK and/or European bus maintenance compliance, with particular emphasis on vehicle inspection, air brake systems, rolling road brake testing & efficiency calculations and bus & coach tyre regulations.
