RATP Dev seeks an Engineering Shift Supervisor to oversee daily engineering operations, lead a team of engineers and technicians, and ensure efficient and safe work execution.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the engineering department during the assigned shift, ensuring work is carried out efficiently and safely
- Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring they are well informed, motivated, and working cohesively
- Assign tasks and projects to team members based on their expertise, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and timely project completion
- Ensure that all tasks are completed to the required standards and specifications. Periodically review work processes and implement improvements as necessary
- Monitor the work environment for any safety hazards and ensure that all activities comply with safety regulations and company protocols
- Identify the training needs of team members and ensure they receive the necessary training, either on the job or through formal courses
- Address any technical challenges or issues that arise during the shift, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
- Coordinate routine maintenance and emergency repairs, ensuring minimal downtime and continued operational efficiency
- Track the performance of team members, providing feedback, and conducting periodic evaluations
- Act as a bridge between the management and the engineering team, ensuring both parties are updated about any significant developments
- Document shift activities, challenges faced, and any anomalies observed. Submit regular reports to higher management
- Coordinate with the inventory manager to ensure necessary tools, materials, and equipment are available for the shift’s tasks
Requirements
- Graduate of a technical diploma
- Extensive (4 5 years) hands on and strong experience in skilled automotive maintenance and some supervisory experience
- Valid KSA Driver’s License
- Expertise in automotive mechanic trade, focusing on diesel powered passenger buses
- Thorough knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions of heavy machines maintenance
- Proficiency in diesel engine operations
