Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all aircraft are repaired and modified in accordance with the OEM and Part 21 instructions.
- Provide technical assistance to the Technical Services Manager for efficient operation of Airnorth fleet.
- Liaise with Engineering and Flight Operations department on technical matters and troubleshooting defects.
- Assess technical documents including Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and Engineering Orders
- Performance, monitoring and oversight all activities associated with the reliability review program.
- Evaluate aircraft systems and engine trend data downloads.
- Provide maintenance technical support.
- Liaison with the CASR Part 21 representatives, airframe, engine, equipment manufactures and regulatory authorities.
Selection Criteria
Formal aviation related engineering or trade licences and/or experience as LAME or tertiary engineering qualifications.
Sound knowledge of Reliability Systems and/or Statistical analysis.
Ability to research and prepare reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
Knowledge of CASA regulatory requirements.
Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs.
Proficient with Microsoft Office software suite including Excel/Word/Oulook.
Previous experience with maintenance management software and database e.g.: Envision, IAS, TRAX, Winair or similar.
About you
Must possess high-level interpersonal skills to manage multiple tasks within strict timeframes.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an ASIC.
