About the Role
Supports scientific research, product development, technical service, and innovation in the waterborne coatings industry.
Provides technical support to scientists, engineers, and technology leaders through laboratory experiments, formulation work, testing, and research projects.
The role supports the full development cycle of waterborne coatings and contributes to product commercialization and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Support chemists, scientists, and engineers with product development, application development, technical service, and research projects.
- Perform laboratory testing, sample preparation, equipment setup, and experimental procedures.
- Operate testing equipment and accurately document observations, results, and technical data.
- Maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance on laboratory instruments.
- Manage chemicals, consumables, samples, supplies, and replenishment activities.
- Follow waste handling, disposal, environmental, health, and safety requirements.
- Communicate technical issues, equipment concerns, and test results to project teams.
- Participate in safety meetings, process improvement, problem-solving, and continuous improvement activities.
