About the role
Provide consistent cost accounting support services and reporting to stakeholders.
Maintain accurate and complete accounting activity in company records and books.
Support cost center expenses, budgeting, inventory valuation, reporting, analysis, and communication of business results.
Assist management teams with financial analysis for decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Review cost center spending, cost drivers, and variances against budget and comparison periods.
- Execute cost center allocations and recharges and analyze recoveries and residuals.
- Support cost center budgeting and audit activities.
- Prepare product cost estimates and resolve standard-cost errors and variances monthly and quarterly.
- Coordinate cycle counts and reconcile physical and system inventory.
- Observe stock takes and reconcile physical and system stock.
- Ensure accurate inventory valuation across management, tax, and statutory books.
- Review intercompany variances and take corrective action.
Qualifications
- Qualified CMA or CA with 3-5 years of relevant costing and accounting experience.
