Technical Sales Engineer – Ansys Simulation Software

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Target key commercial sectors such as Energy & relating Manufacturing, Construction, and EPC to drive revenue growth.
• 2. Identify and support startup incubators and innovation hubs, positioning Ansys as a key simulation tool for product development and R&D.
• 3. Work closely with technical and pre-sales teams to showcase software capabilities and provide training where necessary.
• 4. Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to closing deals and account management.
• 5. Monitor government and institutional funding programs related to research and education, leveraging opportunities for Ansys adoption.
• 6. Maintain accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).

Key Requirements:

• 1. 2-5 years of sales experience in the Energy, Research, and Startup ecosystem in region of interest.
• 2. Prior experience in selling engineering simulation software (Ansys, Siemens, Dassault Systems, Altair, COMSOL, etc.).
