Role overview
The Technical Program Manager supports ASK, an agentic platform for enterprise and government data search, content generation, and multi-agent workflows.
The TPM team embeds with delivery teams while owning cross-team initiatives end-to-end.
The role is designed to improve delivery and act as a strategic force multiplier across Engineering and Product.
Execute
- Embed with one or two teams to improve clarity, direction, scope, priorities, delivery quality, and timelines.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, ML, and DevOps roles to coordinate work and resolve dependencies.
- Review PRDs and technical designs to surface risks early and orchestrate technical and functional work across teams.
Influence
- Own at least one complex cross-functional program spanning Engineering, Product, and leadership.
- Lead growth-related initiatives, influence without authority, challenge the status quo, and help teams optimize how they work.
Cultivate
- Facilitate retrospectives and shape ways-of-working rituals for the TPM function.
- Bring new ideas for team operations and internal and external representation of TPM.
- Contribute to hiring and branding initiatives for TPM and Engineering.
Who they are seeking
- At least 5 years of Technical Program Management, Program Management, or adjacent technical delivery experience is required.
- Candidates must be able to read code and challenge technical designs, although independent coding is not required.
- Resourcefulness, technical curiosity, ownership, influence without authority, and clear communication are required.
- Engineering management, technical product management, or production experience may provide relevant background.
- An engineering background and experience with agentic systems, AI platforms, or enterprise SaaS are valued.
Technical context
- The role works with AI concepts and modern AI product building blocks such as LLMs, agents, evaluations, retrieval-augmented generation, and orchestration.
- The role requires substantive technical discussions with engineers and the ability to understand product and technical designs.
