Summary

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager with strong experience in pricing, revenue optimization, and travel technology to join our Product Team.

In this role, you will own the evolution of TPConnects' pricing capabilities, working closely with engineering, architecture, commercial stakeholders, and customers to deliver scalable pricing solutions across airline distribution.

The role focuses on commercial rule management, pricing optimization, revenue-driving capabilities, and API-enabled pricing services that support NDC, GDS, and aggregator ecosystems.

The ideal candidate combines technical product management expertise with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of pricing strategies, commercial models, and airline retailing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product roadmap for pricing and revenue management capabilities.
  • Define and deliver pricing features including markups, discounts, commissions, service fees, promotional pricing, fare categorisation, and pricing optimisation.
  • Translate complex commercial and pricing requirements into scalable technical solutions, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design high-performance pricing services and API-driven capabilities.
  • Work with commercial, finance, and customer stakeholders to identify revenue optimization opportunities.
  • Drive product discovery for new pricing capabilities across NDC, GDS, and aggregator integrations.
  • Monitor pricing performance, commercial outcomes, and key product metrics using data-driven insights.
  • Prioritise the product backlog based on customer value, revenue impact, and strategic objectives.
  • Support investigation and resolution of complex pricing scenarios and production issues.
  • Partner with architecture teams to evolve scalable micro service-based pricing platforms.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

Skills & Competencies

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, Product Owner, or similar role. Experience with pricing engines, revenue management, commercial rule engines, or decision platforms.
  • Strong understanding of pricing concepts including markups, discounts, commissions, service fees, and commercial policies.
  • Experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML, and API lifecycle management.
  • Experience in travel technology, airline distribution, or other transactional platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical product specifications.
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams and understanding technical trade-offs.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Knowledge of airline pricing, revenue management, and airline retailing.
  • Experience with dynamic pricing.
  • Experience with NDC, GDS, One Order, ARM, or related IATA standards.
  • Experience with AWS or cloud-native architectures.
  • Experience with SaaS B2B enterprise platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, analytics, or BI tools.
