Role Description
- The Technical Operations Manager is a part time, on site role based in Abu Dhabi.
- This role is responsible for overseeing daily technical operations, ensuring systems and tools used by the center run reliably and efficiently.
- The Technical Operations Manager will coordinate technical support activities, manage incident resolution, and monitor system performance to minimize downtime.
- They will collaborate with internal teams to identify operational needs, implement process improvements, and document technical procedures and standards.
- The role also involves analyzing recurring technical issues, working with vendors or service providers as needed, and supporting end users with high quality, timely assistance.
Qualifications
- Strong Operations Management and Analytical Skills to oversee technical workflows, interpret performance data, and optimize processes.
- Proficiency in Technical Support and Troubleshooting to diagnose issues, implement effective solutions, and maintain system stability.
- Customer Service skills to support internal and external stakeholders, manage expectations, and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Experience working in technical operations or IT environments, preferably within audit, finance, or governmental institutions.
- Ability to work on site in Abu Dhabi on a part time basis, managing priorities and time effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with IT service management best practices (e.g., ITIL) and basic knowledge of information security and compliance is beneficial.
