Overview
- Oversee all construction material testing and special testing activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications and relevant standards.
- Manage and mentor a team of technicians and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures, ensuring accurate and reliable test results.
- Review and approve testing reports, providing expert analysis and interpretation of data.
- Liaise with project managers, contractors, and clients to address technical issues and provide solutions.
- Manage the calibration and maintenance of testing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, new technologies, and evolving regulations related to construction materials.
- Prepare and manage budgets for testing activities, controlling costs and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with testing protocols and safety regulations.
- Lead investigations into material failures or performance issues, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
