Lead the design, development and delivery of digital products, platforms, APIs and integrations that support content creation, management and distribution, enabling seamless audience experiences across ABC digital services.

Build, mentor and lead a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation and continuous improvement.

Provide senior technical leadership across digital products and platforms, guiding architecture, solution design, vendor integrations and key technology decisions to deliver strategic outcomes.

Drive engineering excellence through modern development practices, technical standards, quality assurance, documentation, and effective delivery processes.

Partner with engineering leaders and cross-functional teams to build strong collaboration, align priorities and ensure successful delivery of business objectives.

Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, industry trends and best practices to enhance platform capabilities, improve audience experiences and support ABC strategy and objectives.

Demonstrated expertise in system design, including API development, database modelling, performance optimisation and secure coding practices.

Demonstrated expert knowledge and experience in the assessment, selection and utilisation of modern frameworks and build tools, automated testing, and version control strategies.

Experience with server-side languages such as Java, PHP or Python.
