Key Responsibilities:
- Own the overall architecture and technical direction of backend systems and platforms.
- Design scalable, highly available, secure, and maintainable distributed systems and microservices .
- Define service architecture, APIs, data models, integration patterns, and technology standards.
- Drive architecture and design decisions, balancing scalability, performance, reliability, security, and cost .
- Lead technical design and architecture reviews for major initiatives.
- Remain hands-on with Golang and Python , contributing to critical and technically complex components.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of software engineering experience , with strong backend/distributed systems expertise.
- B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Experience operating as a Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, Technical Lead, or equivalent .
- Strong hands-on expertise in Golang and Python .
- Deep knowledge of system architecture, distributed systems, microservices, and API design .
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL and Redis .
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes .
- Proven ability to drive architecture and technical decisions across multiple teams .
- Experience leading large-scale architecture modernization or technology transformation initiatives.
