Role Overview
Provide technical assessment, evaluation, and operational support across critical refinery process units.
Help ensure process-unit performance, reliability, and compliance with engineering and safety standards.
Requirements
- Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in refinery operations.
- Proven experience with FCCU, Unsaturated Gas Plant, Alkylation Unit, Sulfuric Acid Recovery Unit, and Selective Hydrogenation Unit.
- Prior experience in a Saudi Aramco or major refinery environment is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical evaluations and performance assessments of refinery process units and operations.
- Provide operational and technical support for specified refinery process units.
- Review process data to identify performance gaps, deviations, and improvement opportunities.
- Evaluate operational procedures, technical proposals, and contractor submissions.
- Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and technical investigations for process upsets.
- Coordinate with process engineering, operations, and maintenance teams on unit performance and reliability.
- Align evaluations with HSE, quality, and refinery operating standards.
- Prepare technical evaluation reports and recommendations for operational improvements.
