Role Description
Assist with design and coordination tasks for engineering department projects.
Role Responsibilities
- Prepare material and subcontractor bid packages for review before procurement.
- Prepare sketches, detailed drawings, illustrations, and blueprints using drafting instruments or computer-aided design equipment.
- Coordinate fabrication of models or samples and prepare working drawings and specification sheets.
- Evaluate new market product and design concepts with engineering teams and clients.
- Present designs and reports for approval and discuss required modifications.
- Prepare inquiries and estimates using assumed design criteria.
- Raise and respond to technical queries and attend technical meetings.
- Check compatibility among architectural, civil, MEP, steel, and cladding drawings and coordinate resolution of conflicts.
- Incorporate client and consultant requirements and alterations into shop drawings.
- Conduct site visits, compare designs with actual site practices, and maintain constructible detail standards.
