About the Role
CoLab is looking for a Technical Enablement Specialist to ensure Account Executives can credibly engage mechanical engineers. You will own industry and demo readiness end to end, building curriculum, delivering training, and certifying reps.

Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver all industry and mechanical engineering training for every company new hire
- Own discovery and demo certification for Account Executives end to end
- Build and maintain the industry fluency curriculum, systematizing existing technical onboarding content
- Run live technical coaching sessions for new hires and reps needing remediation
- Establish a certification renewal cycle and keep the curriculum current within two weeks of any major product release
- Own product training fluency across the team, partnering with PMM and Solutions Engineering
Requirements
- 3–6 years as a Solutions Engineer or Pre Sales Engineer who has run hundreds of technical demos
- Direct industry background in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, enablement or product design
- Deep, hands on knowledge of CAD and PLM tools
- Natural aptitude for teaching and coaching
- Experience building or contributing to technical enablement curriculum
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills

About the Role

- The Technical Enablement Specialist makes sure every AE can walk into a room with a mechanical engineer and earn that credibility in the first 20 minutes.
- You will own industry and demo readiness end to end — building the curriculum, delivering it, and certifying that reps are ready.
What you'll do

We'd love to hear from you if you have
- 3–6 years as a Solutions Engineer or Pre Sales Engineer who has run hundreds of technical demos.
- A direct industry background in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, enablement or product design.
- Deep, hands on knowledge of CAD and PLM tools.
- A natural aptitude for teaching and coaching.
- Experience building or contributing to technical enablement curriculum.
- Excellent communication, facilitation skills.
While it's not required, it's an added plus if you also have
- Experience using conversation intelligence tools like Gong or Chorus.
- Experience working at a software as a service company.
- Ability to tackle large, ambiguous challenges.
- Advanced CoLab knowledge across all products.
- Familiarity with common sales methodologies, MEDDPICC, and the 3 Whys.
