Role Overview
The Technical Documentation Specialist develops technical content for operators, technicians, and internal teams.
The documentation must support safe operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex hardware and software systems.
The role works with engineering, vehicle operations, manufacturing, and field teams.
Responsibilities
- Interview technical and operational stakeholders to understand product use, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Develop operation and maintenance manuals for vehicle hardware and user-facing software.
- Create work instructions for assembly, infrastructure maintenance, remote troubleshooting, and field repairs.
- Produce photographs, screenshots, diagrams, CAD renders, and other visual aids.
- Manage requests for technical information, terminology, document revisions, and engineering changes.
- Participate in product reviews, testing, and field activities to validate documentation.
