Role overview
AECOM is seeking a Technical Director-level Electrical Engineer for its national building engineering team, based in Sydney or Perth.
The role leads a large multidisciplinary team of building services engineers and modellers while contributing technical expertise to landmark projects across Australia and New Zealand.
Key responsibilities
- Lead complex multidisciplinary building projects across health, education, defence, transport, commercial, aviation, sports and data centre markets.
- Provide technical leadership and governance for electrical building services design.
- Ensure compliance with Australian codes, standards and best-practice engineering principles.
- Review design calculations, specifications, models and documentation for coordinated, high-quality outcomes.
- Build client relationships, support business development and secure a strong project pipeline.
- Mentor multidisciplinary engineers and strengthen building services capability across Australia and New Zealand.
