- Provide technical leadership and direction across Civils and Rail Systems disciplines
- Lead multi disciplinary design reviews and approvals of D&B Contractor's designs and technical submittals
- Ensure design progress is in accordance with the project schedule
- Ensure coordinated designs and seamless integration between civil and systems disciplines
- Ensure design compliance with Employer and Contract requirements, Standards, and best practices
- Chair high level design reviews and lead Design Control Point gate reviews
- Undertake technical reviews, provide technical recommendations, and take technical decisions
- Review and accept engineering change requests and value engineering proposals
- Interface with client leadership, D&B Contractor, key stakeholders, and regulatory authorities
Requirements
- 25 30 years of experience in rail/metro projects
- Experience in technical leadership across civil and rail systems disciplines
- Ability to lead multi disciplinary design reviews and approvals
- Knowledge of design compliance with employer and contract requirements and standards

Responsibilities
- Technical leadership and direction across the Civils and Rail Systems disciplines.
- Leading multi disciplinary design reviews and approvals of the D&B Contractor's designs and technical submittals for Civil Works (stations, tunnels, viaducts, depots, architecture, MEP, BIM), Rail Systems (full suite), Rolling Stock, Interface Management, and Systems and Safety Assurance.
- Technical performance and works progress of the engineering services.
- Ensuring design progress is in accordance with the Project schedule.
- Coordinated designs and seamless integration between civil and systems disciplines.
- Design compliance with Employer and Contract requirements, Standards, and best practices.
- Chairing high level design reviews and leading Design Control Point gate reviews.
- Undertaking technical reviews, providing technical recommendations, taking technical decisions, and reviewing and accepting engineering change requests and value engineering proposals.
- Interfacing with client leadership, the D&B Contractor, key stakeholders and regulatory authorities, and representing The Engineer's team at the highest technical level.
