Role Overview
Lead heavy civil infrastructure engineering, site development, and technical design integration for a major program in Riyadh.
Oversee a design-and-build contractor developing design from 35% to issued-for-construction stage.
Responsibilities
- Lead civil engineering design strategy, technical reviews, and infrastructure assurance for parking, podiums, office blocks, and structural canopies.
- Manage lead design consultants and specialist civil and geotechnical sub-consultants against budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate civil, structural, geotechnical, MEP, security, and defense infrastructure disciplines.
- Conduct buildability and value engineering reviews for heavy civil works, drainage, roads, and structural interfaces.
- Ensure designs comply with Saudi Building Codes, civil defense protocols, and defense facility benchmarks.
- Oversee BIM-led workflows, geospatial data integration, change management, and technical documentation.
- Manage site supervision processes for tracking activities, quantities, and records.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- At least 20 years of progressive civil engineering and design management experience.
- Track record on mega-infrastructure projects or government or defense facilities in the GCC region.
