Horn Ridge Engineering and Consultancy is seeking an experienced Technical Coordinator to provide administrative, secretarial, and document control support for Projects and Operations Departments.

- Maintain, organize, and manage all company and project related documents, including technical drawings, reports, specifications, letters, and correspondence
- Ensure proper document numbering, filing, version control, and tracking of revisions
- Maintain accurate electronic and physical filing systems for easy retrieval of records
- Distribute updated drawings and documents to relevant departments and ensure obsolete versions are removed
- Support the archiving of completed project and operational documents
- Maintain a central register of contracts, agreements, and formal commitments
- Track contract statuses, expiry dates, and renewal requirements
- Provide full secretarial and administrative support to the Projects and Operations Departments
- Draft, format, type, and issue letters, reports, memos, and other official correspondence
- Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, letters, and document transmittals
- Schedule meetings, coordinate appointments, and follow up on action points
- Attend meetings and take accurate, clear, and professional minutes
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Office Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience in a secretarial, administrative, or document control role
- Proven experience in an engineering consultancy, construction company, or technical office environment
- Willingness to travel to Garowe, Somalia
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Strong minute taking, report writing, and document formatting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure

Role Overview
- Horn Ridge Engineering and Consultancy is seeking an experienced and highly organized Technical Coordinator to provide administrative, secretarial, and document control support across both the Projects Department and the Operations Department.
- The role requires a candidate with a strong background in administration and at least 7 years of relevant experience, preferably within an engineering consultancy, construction company, or technical environment.
- The Company will facilitate relocation to Garowe, Puntland, Somalia, including airfare and other approved relocation expenses.
