Assignment Location and Work Arrangement

  • The assignment is based in Toronto, Ontario, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring two days in the office.

Role Overview

Procom is seeking a Business Analyst focused on GenAI to support enterprise GenAI solutions for a banking client.

The role translates technical capabilities into business outcomes and connects business, technology, and governance teams in a regulated environment.

The position supports scalable, compliant, and production-ready solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery and document current-state architecture, data flows, integrations, and user journeys.
  • Translate requirements into functional and non-functional specifications and manage scope, dependencies, and priorities.
  • Maintain the backlog, documentation, and delivery artifacts, and interface with development teams.
  • Design and support GenAI validation, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and performance validation.
  • Coordinate architecture, Responsible AI, security, and data governance alignment.
  • Lead release readiness, documentation, approvals, stakeholder sign-off, lessons learned, and continuous improvement.

Mandatory Skills

  • Ten or more years of business analysis or technical business analysis experience in a complex enterprise environment is required.
  • Experience translating technical solutions into business requirements and user journeys is required.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, data flows, integrations, and solution architecture concepts is required.
  • Full delivery lifecycle experience across requirements, build support, testing, and release is required.
  • Strong stakeholder management across business and technology teams is required.
  • Regulated-environment experience involving risk, compliance, and governance is required.
  • Familiarity with GenAI concepts, prompts, model behavior, and associated risks is required.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Financial services or banking experience is desirable.
  • Exposure to GenAI or advanced analytics programs is desirable.
  • Jira experience and familiarity with Responsible AI, security, and architecture governance are desirable.
