Role Overview
Work as a Technical Analyst / System Analyst for credit and debit card systems.
Bridge business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into system solutions.
Required Skills
- Strong functional knowledge of credit or debit card systems, including issuance, authorization, clearing and settlement, Card Control, and digital servicing workflows.
- Strong SQL querying and data analysis skills using relational databases such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Experience implementing applications using WebLogic or WebSphere.
- Experience with AWS or Azure, cloud-hosted applications, managed databases, integrations, and hybrid environments.
- Hands-on experience with card management systems such as WAY4 or First Vision.
Key Deliverables
- Analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
- Prepare functional specifications, system flow diagrams, interface definitions, and data mappings.
- Perform impact analysis for business changes and enhancements.
- Assess upstream and downstream dependencies and advise stakeholders on feasibility and risks.
- Prepare architecture documents as part of solutioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, enterprise architecture, security, and operations teams on solution design, integration, and delivery.
- Support system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and regression testing.
- Ensure timely resolution of defects and issues.
- Coordinate with external vendors and third-party system providers on requirements clarification, solution reviews, and dependency management.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and audit requirements, including PCI DSS, for card data and cloud-based systems.
