Workshop Operations

• Plan and supervise the preparation, storage, and dispatch of materials and equipment.
• Lead maintenance activities in compliance with safety standards and operational requirements.
• Review workshop processes and recommend improvements to efficiency and productivity.
• Facilitate maintenance planning strategies and schedules.
• Supervise inspection and testing of equipment for quality and reliability.
• Monitor spare parts inventory for availability and cost-effectiveness.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Guide troubleshooting and resolution of technical challenges.

Safety and Improvement

• Oversee implementation of HSE policies and procedures in the workshop.
• Lead implementation of lean practices such as the 5S model.
• Promote innovation and continuous improvement within the workshop team.
• Lead risk management efforts to identify and mitigate operational risks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and international standards.

Leadership and Stakeholders

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet operational requirements and resolve issues.
• Provide leadership, strategic direction, and resource allocation for the workshop team.
• Develop team knowledge and competencies to support professional growth.
• Drive performance management and accurate reporting of workshop progress and metrics.

Budgets and Operational Plans

• Provide input for department budgets and monitor expenditure against approved team budget levels.
• Investigate, highlight, and reconcile significant budget variances for cost control.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably mechanical or mechatronics.
• At least 10 years of hands-on experience in the maintenance of diving equipment.
• At least 5 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory position.
• Five years of offshore experience.
• Experience with ROV, umbilicals, LARS, and other diving equipment.
• Valid UAE Driver's License.

Professional Certifications

• Current IMCA Air Dive Supervisor Certificate.
• Valid H2S Awareness or Escape BA Training.
• Offshore survival certification with valid Helicopter Underwater Escape Training.
• Ability to gain CICPA clearance for all UAE sites.
• Valid technical or maintenance course for an ROV system.

Technical Scope

• The role covers maintenance and operations involving ROV systems, umbilicals, LARS, and other diving equipment.
• The role requires workshop leadership, maintenance planning, HSE oversight, inventory management, technical documentation, and continuous improvement.
