Tax Compliance Sr. Specialist role at Tata Consultancy Services in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with taxation and Zakat requirements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, execute, and distribute all periodic financial statements.
- Implement compliance with taxation and Zakat requirements.
- Execute all taxation activities to ensure alignment and tax compliance requirements.
- Implement systems and processes to monitor and mitigate identified taxation, zakat, and compliance risks.
- Conduct research initiatives to remain updated on Zakat and tax regulations.
- Identify opportunities to enhance process improvement for tax compliance procedures.
- Identify non-compliance and violation issues and propose improvement recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Monitor the financial performance of a given area of activity versus budgets and ensure all activities are carried out in line with the approved guidelines while promptly reporting on any variances to management.
- Provide inputs and implement policies, systems, and procedures for the assigned team to fulfill all relevant procedural/legislative requirements while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
- Participate in the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes, and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement, and cost reduction.
- Prepare sectional statements and reports promptly and accurately to meet JCDC and department requirements, policies, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CMA, or CPA.
- 3-4 years of experience in a similar field.
- Foundational knowledge in Financial Reporting and Regulatory law.
- Foundational knowledge in tax and zakat laws.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
