About the Role
Swissôtel Al Maqam is seeking a Saudi national for a Receptionist role. The position involves front desk operations, guest check-in/out, handling inquiries, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
- Review and update logbook, check equipment, and oversee day to day operations
- Register and process check in for all arrivals, update guest information
- Handle cashiering duties, foreign exchange transactions, night audit tasks, and settlement upon departure
- Handle walk in and call in reservations when room reservations section is closed
- Resolve guest complaints and liaise with departments for follow up
- Issue guest room key cards and ensure effective control for guest security
- Check and convey messages to guests
- Assist at Information counter, Foreign Exchange, Night Audit, and Business centre as assigned
- Print panic report at least twice per shift
- Attend briefings and take notes
- Drive upselling
Requirements
- Saudi National (Tamayyaz Program)
- Little to no work experience; fresh graduates or up to 6 months experience
- Basic English skills
- Strong passion for hospitality
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Company Description

- Swissôtel Al Maqam is a contemporary five star hotel in Jeddah, part of the Abraj Al Bait complex, near Masjid Al Haraam.
Planning & Organizing
- Review and update Logbook, check equipment, maintain friendly disposition.
- Oversee day to day operations, report to supervisors, monitor employee performance.
- Handle guest complaints, implement Front Office OSM, attend training classes.
- Ensure awareness of daily activities and hotel facilities, print panic report at least twice per shift.
Operations
- Prepare for daily arrivals, register and process check in, update guest information.
- Handle cashiering, foreign exchange, night audit, and settlement upon departure.
- Handle walk in and call in reservations, provide courteous service, resolve complaints.
- Issue room key cards, check messages, assist at Information counter and Business centre.
- Review log book, check hotel situation, file reports, attend briefings, focus on guests.
Qualifications
- Tamayyaz Program is for Saudi Nationals only.
- Open to candidates with little to no work experience, including fresh graduates and up to 6 months experience.
- Basic English skills are a must.
- Strong passion for the Hospitality Field.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team player, flexible roster, ability to focus on guest needs.
