Systems Support & Network Engineer

Job Purpose

Infrastructure and Support Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot PowerEdge and ProLiant servers, including hardware, RAID, iDRAC, and iLO.
• Manage SAN/NAS environments, including QNAP, IBM Storwize or equivalent, iSCSI, LUNs, RAID, and storage troubleshooting.
• Administer VMware vSphere/ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Proxmox environments.
• Manage Windows Server 2012–2025, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file services, Azure, and Entra ID.
• Configure and troubleshoot VLAN, trunking, STP, LACP, M-LAG/vPC, OSPF, BGP, LAN/WAN, and multi-site connectivity.
• Manage Palo Alto, FortiGate, Sophos, pfSense, Kerio, or equivalent firewalls, including VPN, NAT, ACLs, and segmentation.
• Manage backup and restore operations and support disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity.
• Provide Level 2/Level 3 support, monitoring, performance analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Coordinate with ISPs, vendors, and service providers and support IT infrastructure projects.
• Support infrastructure for CCTV/VMS, IPTV, VoIP, access control, and structured cabling where required.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, network diagrams, configurations, and asset records.
• Ensure systems are secure, stable, available, and properly maintained.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 6+ years of relevant hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, systems, and networking.
• Hands-on expertise in servers, RAID, storage, virtualization, networking, and firewalls is mandatory.
• Experience managing multi-site infrastructure, ISPs, vendors, and IT infrastructure projects.
• Four years of experience with servers, storage, virtualization, networking, and firewalls is preferred.
