Role Overview
Visual Systems Specialist responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing visual systems supporting brand identity, digital experiences, and scalable design processes.
The role collaborates with Design, Product, Marketing, Creative, and Technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop visual systems, design frameworks, standards, guidelines, reusable components, templates, patterns, and assets.
- Ensure visual consistency across websites, applications, digital products, marketing materials, presentations, and other channels.
- Conduct visual audits and improve design workflows, production efficiency, scalability, and collaboration.
- Develop prototypes, mockups, concepts, documentation, and standards for digital products, brand experiences, campaigns, and creative assets.
- Collaborate with UX, UI, and development teams on accessibility, usability, and accurate design-system implementation.
- Organize design libraries and research emerging visual design trends, technologies, tools, and practices.
- Present visual concepts, recommendations, and system improvements to internal stakeholders and leadership.
Requirements
- Proven experience in visual design, design systems, graphic design, UI/UX, brand design, or a related creative field.
- Strong understanding of visual design principles, typography, composition, color, layout, imagery, brand consistency, digital design, and responsive layouts.
- Experience with design systems, visual frameworks, brand guidelines, component libraries, or related systems.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar platforms.
- Strong collaboration, creative thinking, structured problem-solving, communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and deadline-management skills.
- Experience with design tokens, accessibility, motion design, or design system governance is advantageous or preferred.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree and a strong portfolio are preferred.
