Role Overview
Improve Team is seeking an Opportunity Identification Specialist to identify business opportunities, market potential, growth areas, and strategic initiatives.
The role works with senior leadership and Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Strategy, and Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify business, market, partnership, investment, and growth opportunities.
- Conduct market research, industry analysis, competitor assessments, and customer research.
- Develop opportunity assessments, business cases, feasibility studies, and strategic recommendations.
- Assess commercial potential, risks, costs, benefits, and scalability.
- Build and prioritize an opportunity pipeline based on strategic and financial value.
- Support opportunity qualification, partnership discussions, negotiations, and proposals.
- Prepare executive presentations, opportunity reports, market insights, and strategic recommendations.
- Provide data-driven insights for strategic planning and executive decision-making.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, strategy, market research, consulting, sales, investment analysis, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of opportunity assessment, market analysis, business strategy, and growth development.
- Strong analytical, commercial, strategic-thinking, research, and data analysis capabilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with business cases, financial models, market assessments, or strategic proposals is preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM, BI, market intelligence, financial analysis, or business development tools is an advantage.
- A bachelor’s degree in a related business, finance, economics, marketing, management, or strategy field is preferred.
- MBA or relevant professional qualifications are an advantage.
- Strong project management and organizational skills are required.
