Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Systems Integration Management Plan and integration strategy for the project
- Lead coordination and integration of all railway systems including signalling, communications, traction power, SCADA, OCC, rolling stock, platform systems, depot systems, and associated infrastructure
- Manage system interfaces between rail systems, civil infrastructure, stations, depots, and operational environments
- Establish and maintain system interface registers
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure fully integrated and consistent system design outputs
- Facilitate systems integration workshops, technical coordination meetings, and interface resolution sessions
- Support Systems Engineering activities including requirements management, interface management, verification, validation, and traceability
- Identify and manage integration risks and interface conflicts
- Support testing and commissioning activities including FAT, SAT, SIT, integrated testing, trial operations, and operational readiness
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in rail projects and/or rail operations
- Strong understanding of railway systems including signalling, communications, traction power, OCC, SCADA, rolling stock, and depot systems
- Experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams and complex system interfaces
- Experience in Systems Engineering processes and interface management methodologies

Role Overview

What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and implement the Systems Integration Management Plan and integration strategy.
- Lead coordination and integration of all railway systems including signalling, communications, traction power, SCADA, OCC, rolling stock, platform systems, depot systems, and associated infrastructure.
- Manage system interfaces between rail systems, civil infrastructure, stations, depots, and operational environments.
- Establish and maintain system interface registers.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure fully integrated and consistent system design outputs.
- Ensure effective integration between infrastructure, stations, operational systems, and external interfaces.
- Coordinate interfaces with operational stakeholders, authorities, operators, contractors, and specialist system providers.
- Facilitate systems integration workshops, technical coordination meetings, and interface resolution sessions.
- Support Systems Engineering activities including requirements management, interface management, verification, validation, and traceability.
- Coordinate with Configuration and Requirements Management teams.
- Identify and manage integration risks and interface conflicts.
- Lead system integration reviews.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field from a recognized university.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in rail projects and/or rail operations (GCC or international experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of railway systems including signalling, communications, traction power, OCC, SCADA, rolling stock, and depot systems.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams and complex system interfaces across major infrastructure projects.
- Experience in Systems Engineering processes, interface management methodologies, and integration assurance activities.
- Strong understanding of operational interfaces, testing and commissioning processes, and operational readiness activities.
- Experience coordinating with authorities, operators, contractors, and stakeholders within complex multi disciplinary environments.
- Strong knowledge of design development stages, integration processes, and tender documentation requirements.
- Excellent communication, coordination, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving capabilities.
