Lockheed Martin is designing, developing, and delivering a next-gen wideband MILSATCOM system comprised of integrated space and ground segments that will provide enhanced communications capacity, flexibility and resiliency. This position will be a key member of the Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) team in support of the final design, development, production, integration, test, and delivery of this critical capability focused on Design Integration. In this role you will:
Support integrity of system/segments/subsystems design, integration, verification and certification, including compliance of segment requirements, sub-system specs, ICDs, CONOPS, and hardware and software to achieve physical-logical integration
Assist design team to ensure system interfaces are properly specified, integrated, tested and verified from development through ATLO and launch
Support technical leadership and critical readiness assessments for major design reviews
Ensure technical baseline management by application of engineering rigor, consistency, attention to detail, and technical integrity
Provide thought-leadership to proactively engage with program leadership &/or customer to resolve open actions or concerns
Support systems/hardware integration, test planning and execution and find opportunities for build flow and test efficiencies
This position is contingent on program award, expected in 3Q 2026. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.
Full-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00
