Role Overview
The Systems Engineer will work on the MAD-XR magnetic anomaly detection avionics system for surveillance aircraft and helicopters.
The role is part of the hardware engineering team and focuses on validating, delivering, integrating, and improving the product and associated equipment.
The position supports product scale-up, manufacturing efficiency, reliability, and mission success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead bid-phase requirements analysis, compliance assessment, development scoping, and requirements traceability.
- Define, execute, analyze, and document system validation, qualification, and production testing.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing test issues and lead initiatives to improve efficiency.
- Prepare customer technical documentation, system specifications, configuration management, and traceability matrices.
- Support customer technical exchanges and project engineering estimates for scope, cost, and risk.
- Develop test software to automate testing and improve the MAD-XR product and associated equipment.
- Collaborate with electronics, mechanical, software, production, planning, procurement, and supplier teams.
- Support product reliability and mission-success initiatives.
