Opportunity Overview

The Opportunity

• Take full ownership of a systematic volatility relative value strategy.
• Develop, manage, and scale a systematic volatility portfolio across relevant equity and derivatives markets.
• Own alpha generation, portfolio construction, execution, and risk management.
• Identify relative value opportunities across volatility surfaces, maturities, strikes, and related instruments.
• Use quantitative infrastructure, data, and technology to enhance and scale the strategy.
• Work with quantitative researchers, traders, and engineers while retaining significant autonomy.
• Build a meaningful volatility trading business within a capitalized institutional platform.

Ideal Background

• Proven track record as a systematic volatility relative value portfolio manager, quantitative trader, or senior systematic volatility investor.
• Strong experience trading volatility relative value strategies.
• Deep understanding of volatility surfaces, options, derivatives, and relative value frameworks.
• Demonstrable record of generating strong, consistent risk-adjusted returns.
• Strong quantitative and technical capabilities.
• Experience developing systematic strategies from research through live trading.
• Strong understanding of portfolio construction, hedging, execution, and risk.
• Candidates with an existing strategy, track record, or team are particularly encouraged.
