System Engineer

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, enhance, and support OpenText Enterprise Management solutions.
• Implement and optimize AIOps and machine learning-based monitoring for proactive event correlation and operational insights.
• Configure and support OBM/OMi, SiteScope, NNMi, BVD, OBR, Operations Orchestration, Optic Data Lake, UCMDB, and Cloud Optimizer.
• Develop dashboards, analytics, reports, and automation workflows.
• Integrate OpenText solutions with ServiceNow, third-party applications, and cloud platforms.
• Perform root cause analysis, performance tuning, upgrades, and platform modernization.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, application, and security teams.

Required Skills

• At least 8 years of experience with OpenText or Micro Focus Enterprise Management Solutions.
• Strong experience with AIOps, machine learning capabilities, and intelligent enterprise monitoring.
• Hands-on expertise with the specified OpenText monitoring and orchestration platforms.
• Experience supporting and enhancing monitoring platforms in large enterprise organizations.
• Experience integrating with ServiceNow and other ITSM platforms.
• Experience with automation, API integrations, and Perl or VBScript scripting.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux/Unix, SQL Server, Oracle, Azure, AWS, and hybrid cloud monitoring.

Preferred Qualifications

• OpenText, HP, or Micro Focus certifications are preferred.
• Experience in aviation, government, banking, telecom, utilities, or other large enterprise environments is preferred.
• Client-facing, solution design, and enterprise implementation experience is preferred.
