Our Engineering Research and Development department (ER&D) is a fast growing function within Tata Technologies Limited that is assembled to work on exciting projects globally for multiple customers. It comprises highly specialized engineers across Automotive, Aerospace and Industrial Heavy Machinery.

Define system-level technical solutions and manage requirements, interfaces and architecture maturity throughout the automotive product development lifecycle. The role provides technical ownership for a vehicle system or capability and coordinates the engineering disciplines required to deliver an integrated solution.

Area of Responsibility

Define system context, architecture, boundaries and operating scenarios.

Capture, analyse and decompose stakeholder and system requirements.

Allocate requirements to hardware, software and subsystem elements.

Define and manage internal and external system interfaces.

Perform trade studies, impact assessments and technical risk analysis.

Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability and architecture documentation.
