Our Engineering Research and Development department (ER&D) is a fast growing function within Tata Technologies Limited that is assembled to work on exciting projects globally for multiple customers. It comprises highly specialized engineers across Automotive, Aerospace and Industrial Heavy Machinery.
Develop, maintain, integrate and validate vehicle communication networks and associated engineering artefacts. The role supports communication design, signal definition, gateway routing, database management, release preparation and network fault investigation.
Area of Responsibility
Develop and maintain communication matrices, signal databases and interface definitions.
Support CAN, LIN, FlexRay and Automotive Ethernet implementation.
Define signal attributes, timing, routing, gatewaying and network management requirements.
Support network topology and gateway design activities.
Prepare and validate network database and configuration releases.
Analyse traces and investigate communication, timing and gateway issues.
Support ECU integration, network validation and vehicle build activities.

Coordinate network changes with systems, software, diagnostics and suppliers.
Maintain network requirements, documentation and release records.
Knowledge / Experience
Essential:
Degree or equivalent experience in electrical, electronic, automotive or communications engineering.
Automotive network engineering experience.
Hands-on experience with CAN, LIN and Automotive Ethernet or FlexRay .
Experience with DBC, FIBEX or ARXML data and signal management.
Strong CANoe /CANalyzer trace analysis and troubleshooting capability.
Desirable:
AUTOSAR communication stack and network management knowledge.
Experience with PREEvision or Capital Network tools.
Knowledge of diagnostics over CAN or Ethernet.
