Our Engineering Research and Development department (ER&D) is a fast growing function within Tata Technologies Limited that is assembled to work on exciting projects globally for multiple customers. It comprises highly specialized engineers across Automotive, Aerospace and Industrial Heavy Machinery.

Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of complex automotive engineering programmes across multiple technical domains. The role requires strong programme governance, customer engagement and delivery leadership, with responsibility for maintaining alignment between engineering teams, suppliers and business objectives.

Area of Responsibility

Develop and maintain integrated programme plans, milestones, deliverables and resource forecasts.

Coordinate customers, suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams across global locations.

Monitor programme performance against quality, cost, timing and scope commitments.

Manage risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies and escalation actions.

Lead customer reviews, governance forums, status reporting and decision tracking.

Support mobilisation, recruitment planning and workload balancing.

Coordinate engineering changes and assess programme impacts.
