Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Doha, Qatar.
The Swimming Coach will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality swim lessons, coaching swim squads, and facilitating public swimming programs.
Responsibilities include teaching swimming techniques, promoting water safety, monitoring pool activities, and supporting swimmers in achieving their personal and competitive goals.
Additionally, the coach will work with a diverse group of swimmers, from beginners to advanced athletes, ensuring a positive and safe environment for all.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage competitive swimming squads.
- Plan and deliver structured training programs.
- Develop swimmers technically, physically, and mentally.
- Prepare athletes for local and international competitions.
- Monitor swimmer performance and progression.
- Deliver race strategy, starts, turns, and underwater training.
- Maintain professional communication with swimmers and parents.
- Support team culture, discipline, and athlete development.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years competitive coaching experience.
- Experience with squad and high-performance swimmers.
- Strong knowledge of swimming training methodology.
- ASCA Level 3+ or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
