- Support implementation of Tournament Sustainability Strategy and Action Plan
- Coordinate sustainability initiatives across operational functional areas
- Monitor progress against sustainability objectives, targets, and KPIs
- Maintain ISO 20121 Event Sustainability Management System documentation
- Collect and consolidate sustainability performance data from venues and functional areas
- Support carbon footprint calculations and environmental impact assessments
- Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to implement sustainability initiatives
Requirements
- Experience in sustainability management and event operations
- Knowledge of ISO 20121 Event Sustainability Management System
- Ability to coordinate sustainability initiatives across functional areas
- Experience in data collection and reporting on sustainability KPIs

Position Summary
- The Sustainability Manager supports the implementation of the tournament's sustainability programme and ensures sustainability principles are embedded across tournament operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of the Tournament Sustainability Strategy and Action Plan.
- Coordinate sustainability initiatives across operational functional areas.
- Assist venues and operational teams in integrating sustainable practices into day to day operations.
- Monitor progress against sustainability objectives, targets, and key performance indicators.
- Support the implementation and ongoing management of the ISO 20121 Event Sustainability Management System.
- Maintain sustainability registers, procedures, records, and documentation required for certification.
- Coordinate sustainability compliance monitoring across tournament sites and operations.
- Support preparation for internal and external audits.
- Assist in ensuring sustainability policies and procedures are consistently applied across all functional areas.
- Support the implementation of sustainability initiatives across waste management, energy efficiency, water conservation, sustainable procurement, sustainable transport, and carbon emissions monitoring.
- Support the implementation of the tournament's accessibility strategy.
- Assist in monitoring accessibility compliance across venues and tournament services.
