Survey Technician (Melbourne, FL)

This position requires sufficient physical stamina to work long hours outdoors under various field conditions, and to lift and carry 60 pounds.

Year-round outdoor work is subject to temperature extremes and inclement weather conditions.

Work hours are subject to change with overtime work as needed to meet project schedules.

Occasional overnight travel may be required.

What you will need to succeed:

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of survey experience preferred
• Ability to understand and following written and oral instructions, ability to clearly communicate information both verbally and in writing.
• Working knowledge of land surveying practices and techniques and knowledge of modern survey devices and modern survey methods.
• Work requires comfortability with using a machete, shovel and sledgehammer or other appropriate tools.
• Requires the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with project managers, subordinates, related personnel and limited contact with the general public.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
