CCA, LLC a division of Haley Ward is looking for a Project Engineer to plan, organize, and control the activities of the project to best accomplish the successful completion of all projects to which assigned while operating within the guidelines established by the Project Manager, and within established schedules, budgets, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) policy constraints. Typical projects will entail municipal water, sewer, and roadway infrastructure, dams, site planning, and stormwater management. You will work in a team environment on a broad range of engineering projects from planning through implementation.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with clients to assess their needs and establish realistic project goals
Work with and/or support a team of professional employees performing calculations and developing site plans
Manage projects to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
Develop proposals outlining service fees
Research economic alternatives for project components
Present applications and provide testimony to land use boards and commissions
Prepare construction cost estimates and reports for various civil projects
Liaise with professionals, attorneys, developers, contractors, and public agencies
Support firm principals in business development efforts
BS in Civil Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license with a minimum of 4 years of related experience OR Engineer in Training (EIT) on track to attain PE license with a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
Experience in site design for residential, commercial and industrial projects including: Zoning and planning requirements Site grading and erosion control design Roadway and street design Stormwater, drainage and hydraulic calculations and design Septic and utility systems Construction document preparation Experience with retaining wall design a plus

Proficiency in MS Office especially Word and Excel.
Multi-discipline project management skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (2023 or higher) is required.
Sound mathematical skills are required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
Valid driver's license & reliable transportation required. Occasional local travel for site visits and client meetings.
