Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise surface well testing crews during field operations
- Install, operate, and troubleshoot well testing equipment, including separators, flowlines, manifolds, gauges, and data acquisition systems
- Monitor well parameters and ensure accurate recording of test data
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and environmental regulations
- Conduct equipment inspections, maintenance, and calibration
- Coordinate with drilling, production, and engineering teams to achieve testing objectives
- Prepare operational reports and communicate test results to supervisors and clients
- Manage emergency situations and ensure safe execution of all testing activities
Requirements
- Experience as a Surface Well Testing Chief Operator or similar supervisory role
- Ability to lead and supervise surface well testing crews
- Knowledge of well testing equipment including separators, flowlines, manifolds, gauges, and data acquisition systems
- Ability to monitor well parameters and ensure accurate recording of test data
- Understanding of company procedures, safety standards, and environmental regulations
- Ability to conduct equipment inspections, maintenance, and calibration
- Ability to coordinate with drilling, production, and engineering teams
- Ability to prepare operational reports and communicate test results
- Ability to manage emergency situations
