The employer is hiring an ELV Support Engineer with an electronics engineering background.
The role covers ELV technical support, system design, presales activities, and project coordination.
Location and Employment
- The role is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- The employment type is full-time.
- Work location is in person, with travel to project or client sites when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ELV systems.
- Assist with installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of ELV systems.
- Prepare technical proposals, quotations, BOQs, equipment lists, and technical submittals.
- Review project requirements and assist with product and solution selection.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for technical information and quotations.
- Assist with system designs, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Conduct site visits and coordinate with clients, consultants, and project teams.
- Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations when required.
- Support sales during presales and project handover stages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in B.Tech/B.E. Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Fresh graduates and candidates with relevant experience are welcome to apply.
- Basic knowledge of ELV systems and technologies is required.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and technical specifications is expected.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills are required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Candidates should be willing to learn and develop technical and presales skills.
- Candidates should be willing to travel to project or client sites when required.
Preferred ELV Knowledge
- Knowledge of ELV design, BOQ preparation, and technical documentation is advantageous.
- Experience or knowledge of CCTV and video surveillance, access control, structured cabling, intercom, public address, SMATV/IPTV, parking management, time attendance, BMS, or other low-current systems is advantageous.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 2,000 to AED 3,000 per month.
