Role Overview
Manage supply chain and procurement operations across sourcing, warehousing, inventory, vendors, and fleet activities.
Build the supply-chain function and ensure supply does not become the critical path for projects.
Procurement and Supply Chain Responsibilities
- Manage sourcing, negotiation, purchase order issuance, approval matrices, three-way matching, and audit-ready procurement records.
- Maintain vendor partnerships, framework agreements, benchmarked pricing, and supplier performance management.
- Coordinate with Project Directors, Project Managers, and Construction Managers to maintain supply continuity.
Warehouse and Inventory Responsibilities
- Maintain warehouse zoning, 5S discipline, proper tagging, and labelling.
- Track live stock in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with no off-system inventory.
- Perform scheduled cycle counts, full inventory updates, and variance investigations.
Fleet Responsibilities
- Manage fleet utilization and fuel dashboards, maintenance scheduling, and cost-per-vehicle reporting.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in construction or manufacturing supply chain.
- Strong Saudi market vendor knowledge.
- Hands-on warehouse and inventory management experience covering 5S, tagging systems, and cycle counting.
- Experience with ERP-driven procurement control; Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Business Central is a strong plus.
- Fleet or logistics management experience with dashboard-based reporting.
- Demonstrated cost-reduction results and strong negotiation experience with local and international suppliers.
- Import and customs experience is preferred.
- Comfort operating independently or with 1-2 coordinators in a build-the-function role.
- Bilingual Arabic and English.
